Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
On a foiled baking pan, mix almonds, 1 to 2 tbs. olive oil, and
sprinkle with Lawry's seasoning salt. Mix well. Spread mixture into a
thin layer and bake for 10 minutes, until almonds are golden brown.
(Watch to make sure they don’t burn)
Cook and drain green beans. In a casserole dish, add cooked green
beans, almond mixture, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper. Lightly
coat with olive oil (if needed) and add butter. Mix well.
Cover and bake for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle grated cheese over top
before serving, if desired. |
